Our Mission
The Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Society for British Columbia (BC) is committed to the prevention of FASD, and to helping people and families with FASD and other complex neurodevelopmental needs reach their full potential.
We do that through responsive services designed by people who use them, and by sharing what we know with communities who want to better understand developmental diversity.
We started as a group of parents and service providers who recognized significant gaps in understanding and wanted to fix them; we continue to fill those gaps one by one.
The Society is is the governing body of the Asante Centre. We are a registered charitable organization.
